Jamb Regularization Portal: How To Login & Procedure

What is Jamb regularization

Jamb Regularization Portal: JAMB regularization is the process of regularizing the admission status of students who were offered admission into tertiary institutions through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) but could not obtain the admission letter due to some reasons. It is a way of rectifying the challenges associated with admission processes in Nigeria, ensuring that deserving students are not denied the opportunity to further their education.

The regularization process allows candidates who were admitted into institutions through the JAMB UTME but could not complete their admission process due to one reason or the other to obtain their admission letter. This admission letter is an official document issued by JAMB, which confirms that the student has been offered admission into a tertiary institution in Nigeria.

Some of the reasons why students may be unable to obtain their admission letter include not uploading their O’level results, not accepting admission on the JAMB portal, and not paying the acceptance fee. The regularization process seeks to address these issues and enable affected candidates to complete their admission process and obtain their admission letter.

How To regularize Jamb admission

To regularize their admission, candidates are required to visit the JAMB portal and follow the necessary steps. The first step is to create a JAMB profile if they do not have one already. They will then be required to make a payment of a regularization fee, after which they will be given a JAMB registration number.

Candidates will then be required to visit the admission office of the institution where they were offered admission and present their JAMB registration number. The admission officer will verify their admission status and confirm that they were offered admission through JAMB. Once this is done, the admission officer will generate a letter of admission for the candidate, which will be signed by the institution’s registrar and forwarded to JAMB for confirmation.

After JAMB confirms the authenticity of the admission letter, the candidate will be able to print their admission letter from the JAMB portal. This letter will serve as proof that they have been offered admission into a tertiary institution in Nigeria.
